The star system
The first four stars of each prestige cost 500, 1,000, 2,000 and 3,500 XP. Every star after that costs a flat 5,000. One prestige of 100 stars is 487,000 XP, and that figure repeats — star 1,000 costs the same as star 100.
Prestiges rename and recolour the tag every 100 levels: Stone, Iron, Gold, Diamond, Emerald, Sapphire, Ruby, Crystal, Opal, Amethyst, then Rainbow at 1,000 and nine Prime tiers above it. The symbol changes at 1,100, 2,100 and 3,100.
Where the XP comes from
Games award XP for playing, winning, breaking beds and final kills, but the daily bonus is worth more than any single match. Star level tracks how many days you log in more than how well you play.

›Does Hypixel provide match history?
No. The API returns lifetime totals only. Anything resembling history is built by recording those totals over time.
›How much XP is one star?

›What is the highest prestige?
Named tiers run past 3,000 stars, with the tag symbol changing at 1,100, 2,100 and 3,100. Very few accounts are above 3,000.
›Are these the same numbers as other checkers?
Same API, so yes, subject to cache age. Raw counts should always match exactly.
